Now that we are heading into the cooler months, we’ve put together a list of all the best events that are happening in our area this season!
Weekend Markets
Running from April through till September, the Rockingham Rotary Sunday Markets, Rockingham’s longest standing markets and are a great community event. You'll find handmade goods and local crafts as well as new, second-hand and preloved items. You can also shop for quality fresh meats, fruits and vegetables or pick up a Sunday morning coffee to go. The $1 entry fee is donated to community projects.

If like us you enjoy a Sunday sleep in but still want to visit some local markets, The Baldivis Community Markets, run the first Saturday of every month. It’s a fun morning out for the whole family where you can enjoy live entertainment, kids' activities, wonderful coffee and a traditional Aussie sausage sizzle. Browse a variety of local handmade arts and crafts plus second-hand goods for the bargain hunters amongst us.

Connect & Create – Lego Club
Who doesn’t love releasing their inner child and getting creative with Lego! The City of Rockingham is excited to host an inclusive adult only Lego sessions.
Meet new friends, challenge yourself to new builds and find the master within. Bring your own kits along or build with the Lego provided!
Date: 20th May 2021 and running every Thursday afternoon

Matinee Movie Series
When the weather gets cooler there is nothing better than staying in with popcorn and a good movie. On the 4th Friday of every month, The City of Rockingham screens some of the best classic cinema, independent, Australian and world films on the fourth Friday of every month. This event is a great one for all the movie buffs out there and a great way to engage with other like-minded people in your community.
At Brightwood Baldivis there is always something to do or see for people of all ages and this is what makes it a bustling, vibrant neighbourhood that you will love being part of. Be quick as blocks are getting snapped up quickly.
