Baldivis Children’s Forest
This sprawling 20 hectares of bushland was created as a public park and environmental education space for children and has been a central part of the local community since opening in 2000. The Children’s Forest not only boasts fantastic walking trails, spacious picnic areas and well-maintained BBQ and toilet facilities, it also has educational and conservation programs to keep the kids engaged this school holidays.

Baldivis Youth Space
If your little ones enjoy activities on wheels, this is the perfect place to take them for some fun and exercise. Baldivis Youth Space encompasses a 40metre skate plaza, a parkour climbing frame, ropes course, climbing frame, chill out zone and four trampolines. Surrounded by an expansive green space, there’s plenty of room for the kids to play if the skate park isn’t quite their thing!
Adventure Park
This new world class park is located right here in Brightwood! Let the kids entertain themselves for hours on the rope swing, flying fox, nature play area and footy goals, plus much more. Why not make a day of it with lunch at the BBQ and picnic area.
Go for a ride
Find your 30 and have fun whilst you’re at it on one of the many cycle paths around Baldivis. Some of our favourites include:

Baldivis Equestrian and Pony Club

Baldivis Archery Club
Try out a new skill these school holidays at the Baldivis Archery Club! Established in the 70’s, the Archery Club has been a Baldivis community icon for many years. Located near the Golf Driving Range and BMX track, the club is home to modern facilities and offers Target, Field and Clout facilities, allowing archers of all skill levels and disciplines to enjoy the day. Catch a film
Nothing beats warm, buttery popcorn and a movie on a cold rainy day, which is why a trip to the cinema is the perfect winter school holiday activity. Both Reading Mandurah and Ace Cinemas Rockingham have reopened to the public and are within a 30 minute drive from Brightwood, so head to their websites to check the school holiday movie schedule.

Inflatable World, Mandurah
Home to the biggest indoor inflatable playgrounds in the country, this fun filled venue is located slightly further afield in Mandurah but well worth the visit. It’s a super high energy activity and joining in with your kids is strongly encouraged making it a fun bit of exercise for the whole family. The extensive play space is all undercover, so it is a great place to visit when the weather outside isn’t so pleasant. The Mary Davies Library
Keep the kids entertained and sharpen their minds in the school break with a trip to the library. They host a range of activities all year round but step it up in the term breaks with special school holiday programs designed for kids of all ages and interests.
